Preheat the oven to 400°F. Carefully cut the bread in half lengthwise to create two halves.
Next in a bowl combine the softened butter, olive oil, garlic, garlic powder, and chopped parsley. Mix together until combined.
Spread the garlic butter on the cut side of the bread.
Place the bread on a large baking sheet with the cut side facing up. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes until lightly golden brown. Mine are usually done right at 11 minutes.
Cut the bread into your desired amount of servings. Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
Look for the freshly baked French or Italian bread in the bakery section.
If you are using unsalted butter, then add ¼ teaspoon of salt to your butter mixture.
